I am aware of the need to maintain privacy and confidentiality. I always write in a diary about your child's day (which you take home) and discuss with you any issues or concerns.  

DOCUMENTATION

I am required by law to keep certain documentation and details about the children in my care.  Each child’s records are reviewed and updated regularly. These records remain, at all times, confidential and are kept in a secure place.  Parents are allowed access to all written records about their child (except in exceptional cases where data protection laws stipulate it is against the best interests of the child to do so) and comments from parents are incorporated into the child’s records.
