I am aware of the need to maintain privacy and confidentiality. I always write in a diary about your child's day (which you take home) and discuss with you any issues or concerns.

I have a commitment to ensure that all children and families are treated as equals by providing an anti-bias and anti-discrimination practice.   I have a duty under the Race Relations Act 1976, Race Relations (Amendment) Act 2000, Children Act 1989, Childcare Act 2006 and the Human Rights Act 1998 to eliminate unlawful racial discrimination and to promote equality of opportunity and good relations for different racial groups within my practice.   I am committed to respect and value the linguistic, cultural and religious diversity which exists within the wider community and will take positive steps to challenge stereotypical attitudes and racial discrimination ensuring that every child within my practice is prepared for life in a culturally diverse society.
